In your account you can indicate whether or not you wish to automatically renew the domain name or package on the expiry date. Do this in a timely manner, i.e. within the notice period (before the new invoice is created).
You will always receive a message by email in advance of the renewal of your domain name, with the current status, so that you can take action if you wish.
You will then no longer receive an invoice and your domain name will automatically be placed in quarantine after the expiration date. The domain name can be registered by anyone after the quarantine period.
We always take into account a notice period of 1 month!
Set whether or not to renew domain name
Log in to your account
Go to 'domains'
You will see an overview of all your domains.
Under the domain name you can see which domains will or will not be extended.
Click on this text (or on the radar under status) to manage the domain.
Then select 'Manage' -> 'Automatically renew' in the menu.
You see the current status.
Disable renewal if you do not wish to renew the domain name.
The "turn extension on/off" function only works if you are not yet in the month prior to the expiration date. In that case, you must first pay the outstanding invoice.
Have you used a domain name for a long time and have you also received mail on it? Then it is advisable to keep the domain name as a holder for at least another year so that others do not receive mail that is actually intended for you.
Cancel hosting
You can cancel the hosting prematurely outside the notice period via "My Account".
Click on the 'Hosting' button - 'My Hosting & services'.
With the hosting packages you will see the 'next expiration date'. Click on the 'active' button behind the relevant package. On the next page (Manage product) you can manage the package and you will see a menu on the left. Under "Execute", click "Request cancellation". Fill in the details, confirm the cancellation and choose 'immediately' or 'at the end of the term'. Then click on the 'Request cancellation' button. The cancellation will be confirmed by e-mail.
