How soon is my commission paid out?
Commission is credited as soon as someone orders a hosting package through your link. You can see the balance in your account under "Affiliates". Please note: standalone domain names (without hosting) do not count towards commission. For a payout, get in touch via a help ticket.
Does it also work if I am already a customer?
Yes, especially then. As an existing customer you sign up easily via your account. There is nothing extra to arrange. On top of that, you immediately benefit from 15% off your own future orders.
How do I sign up as an affiliate?
Log in to your Domein Direct account and go to "Affiliates" in the menu. Sign up for the programme and receive your own unique affiliate link right away. You can then share that link with clients, on your website or on social media.
What is the difference between affiliate and reseller?
As an affiliate you refer customers through your unique link and earn commission on their purchases. You have no management role over their account. The reseller programme is intended for anyone managing many domains and hosting plans for clients — it gives you more options in terms of management and volume. Does the discount also apply to renewals?
The commission and the 15% discount apply to hosting packages — web hosting, WordPress hosting, managed servers and email packages. No commission is paid on standalone domain names without a package. Unsure about a specific product? Ask your question via a help ticket.
Do I also earn on a standalone domain name?
No. Commission is only paid when someone orders a hosting package through your link — such as web hosting, WordPress hosting or an email package. An order consisting of a domain name only does not count. If someone combines a domain with a hosting package, you earn 15% on the hosting package.
Where can I see my earnings?
You can always find your earnings and statistics in your account under "Affiliates". There you can see which orders were placed through your link and how much commission you have built up.
